Traditional Cricket Jumpers and Shirts

Cricket is a sport that is thought to have been around since the middle ages, and with it, it has built an associated sportswear. People have worn uniforms to show their commitment, belonging and affiliation to something for centuries. In applying this to cricket, the sportswear for this sport has become known as either cricket whites or flannels. The shirt and jumper are worn together, with the cricket shirts typically featuring a polo neck, and cricket jumpers consisting of a V-neck to allow for presentation of the shirt. Mostly white or cream, cricket jumpers traditionally feature coloured stripes around the neck, wrists and base of the jumper. These colours then represent the particular cricket team that wears it. They are worn with either long sleeves or sleeveless, depending on the weather and the player’s personal preference.

Having spent over 140 years supplying cricket clothing for sports clubs, we have earned a high reputation for producing quality products. We offer cricket jumpers made from either 100% wool, 100% acrylic or a blend of the two, knitted together on 3½ gauge Harrison machines, yet hand cabled and hand finished.

Design Your Own Cricket Shirts and Jumpers

When it comes to the custom elements, you can choose embroidered discs for both the cricket jumpers and the shirts. Cricket shirts are designed to feature your own bespoke logo. Our bespoke cricket jumpers that featured embroidered discs are priced separately from the embroidery service itself. We have a minimum order of six items, which can be a combination of the long sleeve and sleeveless jumpers, with discounts for larger orders and children’s sizes. Our custom cricket shirts begin priced at £16.95 (plus VAT) and can vary depending on the logo.
