REME-inspired blazer

Here we have a beautiful REME-inspired blazer made to the design of a serving Senior REME Officer and ex-Army Apprentice of 87A vintage. Finished in the classic Corps colours of navy, with vibrant red & golden stripes, it is completed with the iconic REME crest depicting a horse on its hind legs standing on the World, with a crown above and a lightning bolt in the background. Nicely understated, this classic eye-catching design is extremely practical and has been worn by the designer at Twickenham for the Army v Navy Rugby match, a host of other sporting events, while also being routine attire for dress-down Fridays in DE&S.

The REME exists to ‘keep the punch in the Army’s fist’ and these iconic Blazers are worn by those who are proud of their service, have an eye for sartorial elegance and know a thing or two about maintaining, repairing and recovering the Army’s battle winning helicopters, armoured vehicles and systems across the globe in peace and war. This ethos is summed up in the REME motto – Arte et Marte.
